It's official. In about six weeks, Microsoft's servers will start pushing out the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update to users worldwide. Another change will bring a very popular feature back to Microsoft's OneDrive cloud storage, with Files on Demand letting users see all their files on OneDrive, whether those files are stored on the device or not.
Just like other companies involved into the Windows Mixed Reality initiative, Lenovo positions its HMD for VR games and entertainment, 360° video, work, AR-supporting programs and other emerging workloads.
But while there's quite a lot being added, the eagerly anticipated Timeline feature is not going to make it in time for this particular update. The Fall edition of this Creators Update is the 2nd installment major update for Windows 10 after the April one.
In a blog post, Terry Myerson, Executive VP of the Windows and Devices Group, discussed all of the ways that the Fall Creators Update will improve Windows 10. However, Microsoft has finally put a shipping date on the Fall Creators Update, and the big day is scheduled for October 17. The update will allow PC gamers to set the computer to max out the processor for smoother gameplay, and there'll be a bunch of new games as well.

If you are using Windows 10 1511 within an organization, Microsoft terminated support at the end of July, so you should be on a supported release such as 1607 or 1703.
This means, Windows 10 version 1511 will no longer receive security updates after the October update. And if you don't have a headset, you'll also be able to check out some experiences in 2D with the Mixed Reality Viewer.
