In less than a month after Pahlaj Nihalani was sacked as India's film censor board chief, he has come on board to market and distribute erotic thriller "Julie 2". The film has a lot of bold scenes and throws light on casting couch in the industry.
Considering that the film tells the journey of a lady who is exploited by the film industry, and is quite lady-oriented in its theme, asked what rating is he expecting from the CBFC and how many cuts, Nihalani said: "I know where the question is coming from".
Reportedly, Pahlaj Nihalani, who is known for giving worst nightmare to filmmaker while passing the film has reportedly forgotten his sanskar.

Shivdasani is quoted saying that Nihalani watched the film with his wife and said he would present the film after the screening. There is no vulgarity, obscenity or even a language problem. The producer-turned CBFC chief never failed to make headlines with his constant controversial statements and actions from January 2015 to August 2017 when he was removed from his Censor Board position and replaced by lyricist, marketing maven and screenwriter, Prasoon Joshi. "This is a hot seat, you have to be careful with guidelines which are ideal and only the rating system we require".
