The affidavit dated September 11 was signed by Ravi Sunder, Deputy Secretary in the Foreigners' Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Rohingyas are the immigrants from Myanmar who have entered the territories of India as refugees seeking safety and shelter after being thrown out from their country. "Then why not 40,000 Rohingyas?" he asked.
