Whenever Gmail or Inbox will detect a physical address, an email address, and a phone number, the text will become a link. Once the feature has been activated by Google, clicking an address in an email will open up Google Maps. While the update now applies only to users in the U.S., Google plans to expand the offering to "more languages and locales soon".
When you click on a phone number, whether it's a landline or a mobile number, it also assumes that you want to call your contact or the company/person indicated in the email. The change is created to eliminate the need to copy and paste contact information into other apps before getting directions, responding to emails, or making phone calls, Google said. Though you will not be able to make calls yet you will be able to launch Google Maps and start with a new email just by a single click on your computer.
Once the receiver gets the mail, he/she will see the address, phone number and the e-mail in blue colour meaning, it is a hyperlink.
Every so often, Google will add a clever, exciting new feature to one of its apps or services that we wonder how we ever lived without. "Precious time can be lost by having to copy and paste this information from an email into other apps and websites, so we wanted to provide a better way to perform these tasks that also saves time".

The new feature has been integrated into both iOS and Android apps.
Now, with the new Gmail update, Google has finally addressed these issues.
And don't worry if you are not seeing this feature right now on you gmail as Google has said it will take 2-3 days for the complete roll out to happen.
