This usually puts his opponent away, but not at No Mercy. Lesnar was being laid to waste but he got the opening with a Kimora lock on Strowman for a long time.
Among the biggest events of the night was #John Cena battling Roman Reigns one-on-one, and "The Beast" Brock Lesnar defending the WWE Universal Championship against "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman. One or two other matches may be added tomorrow.
Roman Reigns picked up another huge win at WWE No Mercy as he overcame John Cena in a truly special match in California. Lesnar retaining the championship on the same night that Reigns became "The Guy" (isn't the Universal Champion actually The Guy?) by defeating Cena certainly reinforces the idea that Vince McMahon is hellbent on having Reigns defeat Lesnar on the big stage at WrestleMania. But in a spurt of action, each man almost pinned the other, with Cena successfully landing a AA and then Reigns a Superman punch.
You also get John Cena-Roman Reigns, which, wow. The finish had a feel of a torch being passed, but there's absolutely no doubt: if Cena is winding down, he's doing so very much still at the top of his game. And I'm not done, but I don't know if I can keep going at the pace that I've been going, and I think that's a major thing for me to try to consider. This is the same scene we saw at last year's Summerslam, as he left his armband in the ring after losing to AJ Styles. That being said, what he did was notable. This came even after Wyatt jumped Bálor before the bell, and beat him down on the outside. John Cena is finally done with WWE. Reigns is different, for a number of reasons. In between, Reigns reversed an AA attempt on the announce tables and speared Cena through it (inadvertently hitting his own head and neck hard). Why did he do this?
We'll see how it plays out, but don't expect Reigns to get involved in any title picture for the rest of 2018.
To me, it's clear that Reigns and Lesnar are on a path toward each other.

However, "we are once again at a crossroads", he said, noting that the world is faced with the choice between unity and division. South Korea's weather agency said in a statement on its website that it was not artificially triggered.
With Cena out of the way, it will be interesting to see what's ahead for Reigns, be it realigning with The Shield or finding a new foil.
All five women involved deserve credit for putting on what was arguably the match of the night.
-In a bit of a surprise, the Cruiserweight title changed hands. However, I'm leaning towards Brock winning the title.
