The moment we saw all coming since at least last week has arrived: Meghan McCain is joining The View as a regular co-host, Variety reported on Wednesday. She will represent a conservative voice on the panel that's now composed of Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Paula Faris, Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin.
McCain is reported to replace Jedidiah Bila as one of the leading panelists of the show.

He was arrested in 1992 but later released. "He was involved in more then 50 killings". That way it is a big relief to us and a big relief to all victims of his activities.
The new gig comes on the heels of McCain signing off of Fox News' "Outnumbered" in the wake of her father's brain cancer diagnosis.
Are you happy with Bila's replacement on The View? Despite her political affiliation, McCain has been notably critical of the current administration and President Donald Trump. Prior, she hosted a series, "TakePart Live", on the now-defunct Pivot network, and she was also a contributor to MSNBC and The Daily Beast.
McCain is expected to face off with Whoopi Goldberg who announced back in May that she is determined to stay on the panel for as long as 'I need to be'. Highly respected Republican strategist Nicolle Wallace was ill-suited for the show and much better suited for MSNBC/NBC News, where she's tearing up the turf these days. The show continues to be known as a revolving door, panelist on the show have one of the most unsafe jobs on daytime TV. "She will always be part of The View family".
