The Google Home Max is a rectangular speaker with superior acoustics for playing music, mimicking Apple's HomePod. Yes, that's not why you'd buy one, maybe, but you'd also be getting a connected smart speaker that can play Spotify, Google Music and plenty more services - not to mention all the connected tricks it can do with Smart TVs and your smart home. Introduced by Google Glass desinger Isabelle Olson, the Home Mini is created to integrate itself into your home decor and seamlessly operate without drawing attention to itself. The device makes use of Google's hardware, software as well as AI and Machine learning technologies to deliver an incredible music experience.
The another news is its launch in Japan, it's not new, Google has made announcement earlier this year regarding the launch in the country where csun rises first.
It's available for pre-order right away, and available in seven countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, UK and USA, including Japan - the new country that was announced at the Google event.
The hockey puck-like Google Home Mini comes in three colours: chalk, charcoal and coral. It's the shape of a smooth stone and should look perfectly unobtrusive on your nightstand near the newly announced Google Home Max.
Better still, the hands-free calling feature that was only available in the U.S. and Canada is now coming to the United Kingdom, too.
Voice Match is also rolling out as an update to Google Home starting today.
Samsung's Windows Mixed Reality headset will cost $499
If the listing is anything to go by, Samsung's Odyssey Mixed Reality headset will cost $500 and will be released on November 6th. Until now, HTC's Vive and Facebook's Oculus Rift have had most of the market in high-end PC-based VR headsets to themselves.
Several months ago, the Home got multi-user support, allowing owners to link up to six different accounts to their Google Home devices.
We should have in mind that Google Home already had phone call functionality.
The command "Hey Google, goodnight!" can turn off all the lights, turn down the temperature and remind the user of their first meeting next day.
Oh and one more thing. You can also stream from a device to the speaker via Bluetooth, or plug in any device with an auxiliary input.
Google Home Max takes a diametrically opposite approach to the Home Mini, and is significantly larger while being geared towards better music playback.
