Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will be released on January 16th and will be priced at $39.99! Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will update every character on the roster to feature two V-Triggers. After almost two years, Capcom is finally bringing the number one requested feature to Street Fighter 5 in a brand new version of the game.
Mere hours ago, Capcom confirmed the existence of the Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition.
Thursday's confirmation came hours after retail giant Amazon posted a listing for the game. In an effort to add "more variety" to each match, the company continued, it'll be adding a second V-trigger to each fighter, chosen before the start of a match.
World's largest gun show will go on as planned in Las Vegas
Perched in a room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, Paddock mowed down people at an outdoor concert nearby. The Associated Press also reported that 23 firearms were found in Paddock's hotel room and that he checked in on September 28.
There's also mention of an Extra Battle mode which will allow players to "complete timed challenges to obtain exclusive costumes through 2018". Capcom will also be adding Extra Battle Mode, described as follows: "a new series of time exclusive challenges ... for players to use their Fight Money for the chance to receive an exclusive premium outfit each month".
Other files that were data-mined have implied the possibility of an arcade mode for the game. One thing that has remained a topic of discussion was the continued absence of a dedicated arcade mode, a staple of most fighters where players take on an enemy one after another until reaching a boss. That same listing suggests its release date is January 16 next year. Arcade Mode is a single-player mode that has players selecting six different paths.
"Street Fighter V" was released in February 2016. This will be a whole new experience for the fans of the popular fighting game.
