Rohit Shetty's "Golmaal Again" has become the second highest opening Bollywood movie of the year with its opening weekend collection ending at Rs. 87.60 crore. The film, still in its first week since release, is heading into the blockbuster zone fast.
Golmaal Again has an eclectic cast starring Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, Vrajesh Hirjee, Sachin Khedekar, Uday Tikekar and Prakash Raj. Golmaal Again minted Rs 30.14 on its day of release setting the film at the numero-uno position on the list of 2017's highest openers so far.
Rohit Shetty's Diwali release, Golmaal Again, rocked the box-office after it passed its Monday test and bagged Rs 100 crore through domestic cinemas. Shibasish Sarkar, Chief Operating Officer, Reliance Entertainment, said, "We are delighted with the response "Golmaal Again" has received".
The film has defeated Dangal fame girl Zaira Wasim and Mr. Perfectionist of B-town Aamir Khan starrer musical drama film "Secret Superstar" in terms of box office collection which has collected Rs. 31 crores within its first weekend while Ajay Devgn starrer opened up with Rs. 31.14.
Mohammed Siraj & Shreyas Iyer get the nod for New Zealand T20s
The Indian selectors made a decision to bring in Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Siraj for the T20I series against New Zealand . It is not going to be easy for either of the players to find a place in the starting XI of an already settled unit.
On Monday, the movie has earned a sum of Rs 16.04 crore and which is collecting a total of Rs 103.64 crore.
The film bagged Rs. 15.25 crore on Friday, taking the film's business to Rs. 102.85 crore in India.
