De la Huerta told CBS News that the first rape occurred in October 2010 after Weinstein gave her a ride home from a party, insisted on having a drink in her apartment and forced himself on her.
Since the Weinstein scandal broke, the NYPD has opened other probes - one for a 2004 incident in which then-aspiring actress Lucia Evans accused Weinstein of forcing her to perform oral sex in his Tribeca office, and an incident in which he allegedly committed a forcible sex act on another woman more than 10 years ago, police sources said. She told the publication that Weinstein then started to kiss her, and after she tried to brush him away, he pushed her onto the bed, with his trousers down, and lifted up her skirt. Just before Christmas that year, she alleges, he showed up in the lobby of her apartment building.
Disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein donned a wig, baseball cap and orange make-up in an effort to go incognito for a meal out in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday night.
The infamous movie producer has come under fire, with dozens of women accusing him of sexually harassing or attacking them.
Boyce told reporters Friday that because this impending case dates back seven years, an arrest of Weinstein couldn't be made immediately. We are actively investigating them.
"We have an actual case here", Boyce said. The actress said she'd been drinking at the time and was scared of Weinstein.
UK Minister Resigns, Admits to Sexual Harassment Allegations
Sir Michael resigned from the Cabinet on Wednesday evening following allegations he had behaved inappropriately. The Telegraph understands that there will not be a reshuffle but that Sir Michael will be directly replaced.
"He's like a pig", de la Huerta told the magazine.
At the time of the first alleged rape, De la Huerta, 26 at the time, had recently started in her recurring role in HBO's "Boardwalk Empire", which was earning her a lot of praise.
Weinstein has not commented on the latest allegations, but has repeatedly denied accusations of non-consensual sex. "The investigation is on-going".
The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sexual assault unless they speak publicly, which de la Huerta and Guiterrez have done.
