Meanwhile, some Pixel 2 XL users have noticed a new issue.
Though users have been discussing this particular bug on the Google Product Forums since October, Android Police brought attention to the issue today. Some users are reporting that the Pixel 2 series has a microphone problem, while some others are seeing screen flashes on the Pixel 2 XL.
The main caveat here is that you need to buy the Pixel you want with a device installment plan and keep that for its two-year duration in order to actually benefit from the deal. Shut my screen off one time and from there on kept happening.
Talking about the microphone issue first, some Pixel 2 owners have reported unresponsive microphones during calls or while using voice assistant. Even when I completely shut my device off and was going to turn it back on.
Annual Veterans Day program moved to Dogwood Dell
Congress passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance, and November 11 became a national holiday beginning in 1938. The parade was followed by a brief ceremony in front of Mooresville town hall, lunch and a concert on the town hall lawn.
There are some users who have claimed that changing the settings especially turning the Ambient Display off and on again does fix the issue.
Google is aware of the problem but it hasn't yet discussed a timescale for a fix. It happens when the phone is being unlocked, when it wakes up from an incoming notification, when the screen dims and automatically locks, and more. This seemingly confirms that the screen flashing issue is related to software. Some Pixel 2 XL owners said some they were seeing screen flashes when locking and unlocking their smartphones. The Pixel Buds are supported by any Android device running Marshmallow or above and also it supports Apple iPhones running on iOS 10 or higher.
The latest issue now attributed to the Google Pixel 2 and 2 XL is a Bluetooth one. I have had the same exact symptoms as everyone here so it may be for us all.
A number of users have reported that blowing into the bottom speaker or USB port seems to solve the microphone issue. Blowing into the speaker like you would an old NES cartridge.
