India has also sought a sovereign guarantee from Pakistan that Jadhav's family members would not be harassed or questioned when they visit him, the paper said, adding that Pakistan is yet to respond to India's message.
Earlier this month, Pakistan granted permission to Jadhav to meet his wife, months after a request was made by India's Ministry of External Affairs.
The Narendra Modi-led Indian government is not ready to send just the wife of Jadhav who is on the death row in Pakistan and also want his mother to accompany his wife. In its response, New Delhi conveyed to Islamabad that Jadhav's mother would also like to travel with her daughter-in-law to Pakistan.
A press release from Pakistan's foreign ministry website stated that Jadhav has "confessed" in a Pakistani court "that he was tasked by RAW to plan, coordinate and organise espionage, terrorist and sabotage activities aimed at destabilizing and waging war against Pakistan". India has said that the request to allow Jadhav's mother meet him is still pending with Pakistan Government and that should also be considered.

"We have further asked that a diplomat of the Indian high commission in Islamabad be allowed to accompany them at all times, including during the meeting".
