She was rushed to a hospital and treated, but it proved to be too late.
Davis was at the airport because she was "headed to San Antonio following the death of her father, when the medical episode happened", according to 9News.
Davis had a long and prosperous career as an Atlanta news anchor for 25 years, becoming a familiar face on WGCL-TV's morning news and noon show.
