The Colts defense hasn't been good for a long time, and, with their top three corners all out for this game, TJ Yates, who will be starting for the Texans, could have more success than he has had against elite defenses such as Jacksonville and Pittsburgh. Houston took another hit when receiver Will Fuller V departed with a left knee injury on the Texans' first offensive series. The Colts know this is likely the last game for coach Chuck Pagano, who seems to be someone the players like from a personal standpoint.
Texans: Receiver DeAndre Hopkins (calf) missed the first game of his National Football League career, leaving four catches short of his second 100-reception season. However, the Colts' defense was only able to force one turnover in this game, and may struggle to defeat the Texans this time around if they are unable to force more turnovers.
Since their win against the Texans in week 9, the Colts have not won another game.
De Bruyne carried off at Palace as Jesus also suffers injury
De Bruyne lay prone on the pitch for a number of minutes and was eventually stretchered-off with his right leg in a brace.
Houston went ahead 10-7 on 2-yard touchdown run by Alfred Blue, capping a 13-play, 75-yard drive. When opposing teams are able to shut down Hilton, the Colts offense becomes much less efficient because Hilton is by far the best playmaker on the offense. The Colts now lead the game 16-13 early in the fourth quarter.
Already this season, the Browns set the record for the worst 28-game stretch in National Football League history, as they bested the previous mark of 2-26 set by the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 1976-1977 seasons with a 1-27 mark that got four losses worse since Week 13.
Either way, this fight was a fittingly ugly conclusion to a couple of ugly seasons. Hopkins has never missed a game in has career, and is four catches away from having the second 100 reception season of his career.
