At Denver International Airport, some flights arriving from New Jersey and NY have been canceled. Airport officials were constantly updating flight statuses to and from destinations across the United States. Flights were suspended at New York's JFK due to strong winds and whiteout conditions.

The airports remain open, though it is unclear when flights will resume, according to a 11:30 a.m. alert released by the Port Authority of NY and New Jersey, which oversees the area airports. She said flights to and from JFK, Newark and Boston saw the the most impact.

Most airlines have been letting customers change reservations without incurring a fee, usually up to $200 on USA flights.
"The flight was delayed, we sat on the tarmac for about 2 hours, then pushed back to 6 p.m., and then they just announced that the flight was canceled all together", said a traveler named Dante.

FOX 5 reached out to Aerolineas Argentinas, but did not receive a response as of Thursday night. "He was like, 'Are you sure you're flying out today?'" she said.
