WhatsApp has launched a separate app designed for use by small businesses to more easily connect with customers.
WhatsApp has officially launched a new app, called WhatsApp Business. Also, users will get quick replies to certain common frequently asked questions and greeting messages which introduce a business to a customer.
The app will also provide messaging statistics and metrics so companies can see what is working. It has various additions over the standard chat app such as business profiles and new messaging tools. "And people will continue to have full control over the messages they receive, with the ability to block any number, including businesses, as well as report spam". The App allows you to have a business presence on WhatsApp so the entrepreneur can build a good relationship with the Customer.
The app isn't yet available in South Africa, but is now live in Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and United States. WhatsApp plans to also offer the accounts globally in other countries in the coming weeks and will eventually have a version for Apple iPhones.
