One of the coolest perks of pre-purchasing Battle for Azeroth is that you can try out one of the four new playable Allied Races, which were first referenced in Legion. Horde players can start leveling new Highmountain Tauren and Nightborne elf characters, while Alliance players can get a jump on leveling Lightforged Draenei and Void Elves. That being said, players won't simply be able to jump in and grab these new races, a number of requirements will need to be met in order for them to become accessible. Once the race is available, players can then create their new character, and these new races will begin at level 20. Blizzard has been offering these instant boosts since Warlords of Draenor, the game's fifth expansion, was available for pre-purchase back in 2014. The expansion will be available in standard, digital, and digital deluxe editions, with the details on the variations of the three versions being available on Blizzard's website.
Battle for Azeroth's pre-purchase costs $49.99.
