Year to date (YTD) refers to the period beginning the first day of the current calendar or fiscal year up to the current date.

eBay claims these changes will see lower costs and more control for sellers, while buyers will have more payment options at checkout.
The shift will start gradually in North America later this year and eBay expects most marketplace customers around the world to be using the new system in 2021. Adyen accepts payments in 150 currencies.
After the existing eBay-PayPal agreement ends in 2020, PayPal will remain a payment option for shoppers on eBay, but it won't be prominently featured ahead of debit and credit card options as it is today.
PayPal Holdings (PYPL) announced earnings of $0.55 per share yesterday, which exceeded Wall Street expectations of $0.52 per share. "But to be clear, there will always be a place for PayPal on eBay - it just will be less prominent".

Paypal (NASDAQ PYPL) traded down $7.26 during trading on Thursday, hitting $78.06.
The chief executive officer of PayPal, Dan Schulman, said on a call with analysts that the changing relationship with eBay was very "manageable" and that it was in line with PayPal's new strategy. In mid-2014, around the time PayPal was beginning to eclipse eBay in value, the latter company provided more than 30 per cent of PayPal's profits and 50 per cent of its revenue, per Recode. The Company's services facilitate transactions on its network among cardholders, merchants, financial institutions and governments.
Those customers will benefit from more payment options when checking out than presently available, eBay explains, saying the buyers will also get an integrated experience that eBay fully manages.
The move doesn't mean a complete goodbye to PayPal on eBay.
