Movie star Uma Thurman finally opened up on Saturday about her own experiences with sexual assault following the downfall of disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein previous year and the subsequent #MeToo movement.
When she confronted him about the incident the next day, Thurman said Weinstein threatened to end her career.
"I went from being a creative contributor and performer to being like a broken tool", Thurman recalled.
The 47-year-old alleges that things took a sinister turn when the director told her to follow him down a corridor in a Paris hotel - leading her to a steam room.
"I just walked away stunned, like 'Okay, well there's my half-assed apology, '" said Thurman.
"So I've been waiting to feel less angry and when I am ready, I will say what I have to say". Last Thanksgiving, she wished everyone a happy holiday on Instagram, but added a scathing caveat: "Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators - I'm glad it's going slowly - you don't deserve a bullet". He tried to shove himself on top of me.
The actress claims Weinstein would spend "hours" complimenting her after they got to know one another in the mid-90s.
Elsewhere in the interview, Thurman described a stunt she says Tarantino forced her to do some time after she told him about her Weinstein encounter. I was doing anything I could to try and get away'.
Brafman's new statement drew lights on an earlier statement from former movie mogul's spokesperson denying the actress' accusations, saying "There was no physical contact" that also noted Weinstein was "saddened and puzzled" by the sexual misconduct allegation.

When you play every three days, it's impossible to give intensity in these two days between one game and another. Mancini, for example, is under contract and so we need to understand who we can talk to.
"I said I was angry recently, and I have a few reasons, #metoo, in case you couldn't tell by the look on my face".
"I stand as both a person who was subjected to it and a person who was then also part of the cloud cover, so that's a super weird split to have", she said.

She alleges that there were known issues with the convertible vehicle, which Thurman refers to as a "deathbox", and that Tarantino had become furious when the actress expressed she was not comfortable performing the stunt.
At the time of her first statement, Thurman said she called her feeling "anger", but her emotions were so much more.
