Three law enforcement officers were shot while serving a warrant in central Georgia Friday morning, one fatally, officials say.
He had been with the Locust Grove police for about five years.
The shooting happened at a park in Locust Grove and the suspected shooter is dead.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office could not be immediately reached by Reuters for details.

Locust Grove is about 40 miles southeast of Atlanta. One sheriff's deputy is in serious condition and in surgery right now at Atlanta Medical [Center]. GBI also identified the two wounded deputies as Michael D. Corley and Ralph Sidwell "Sid" Callaway.
"The Locust Grove police officer died shortly after at the hospital".

"We just can't believe this happened", he said.

Two of the officers were taken from the scene to a hospital by helicopter, while the third was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
Police blocked off multiple entrances of a subdivision not far from an outlet mall, and turned away people who don't live in the neighborhood.

"It's scary because you never know who is in your neighborhood".
