The ice will result in hard travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Monday.
Chris Bowman, a National Weather Service meteorologist in the Pleasant Hill office, said early Tuesday the intensity of rain was coming through eastern Kansas early Tuesday and heading toward the Kansas City area.
In northern parts of Oklahoma, from Woodward to Bartlesville, including the Enid and Stillwater areas, a winter weather advisory is in effect until 3 p.m. Tuesday, the weather service reports.
