The brand has ordered 20 million packets of Szechuan Sauce, which will be available at restaurants nationwide on Monday, February 26.
McDonald's is finally delivering on their promise to bring back a nostalgic condiment that made fans of the show Rick & Morty completely lose it last fall when they couldn't get their hands on the super-limited release of Szechuan sauce.

The condiment with a cult-like following will be available at all McDonald's locations in the US while supplies last.
Given the sauce's newfound popularity, McDonald's announced a limited run of Szechuan Sauce thanks to Rick & Morty. Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland brought the little-known concoction back into the public eye in the first episode of Rick and Morty's third season, "The Richshank Redemption".
A press release from McDonald's addressed the pandemonium that broke out in October, saying the company had the best intentions but admitting it went very wrong.

Hopefully things go well enough that McDonald's keeps the promotion going, and expands it to its restaurants across the world.
McDonald's has promised that this time, the chain has taken its time and won't face a similar disaster.
