Reports suggest David De Gea is Real Madrid's top choice to sign but if things doesn't go well for them Courtois will be their second option to go for.
As reported by the Sun, the Blues board were ready to offer Courtois a lucrative new deal, but the Belgian global has delayed contract talks in the wake of interest from Los Blancos.
"I have never heard of that meeting", said Christophe Henrotay.
"Courtois and Chelsea say they've put talks on hold while they have a couple of big games to come in the next few weeks", Hislop told ESPN FC.
Sacked Google employee files lawsuit against company citing bias
The lawsuit was filed in a California court by Arne Wilberg , who worked at Google and YouTube for about nine years. Recruiters at Youtube allegedly had a "diversity tracker" and were given yearly diversity hiring goals.
There is also the question of coach Unai Emery, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season and PSG only willing to sanction an extension in the event of reaching the Champions League semifinals - which would trigger an additional 12-month deal for Emery anyway.
Courtois' current coach, Antonio Conte, is reportedly on a shortlist of candidates to be approached in the event that Emery's departure becomes clear, and former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas is also a name of interest.
But Courtois has always spoken about returning to Spain, and a move to Real Madrid would appeal to him immensely.
A potential move by PSG would hamper any plans Real Madrid had of making a summer move.
Do you think Courtois will leave Chelsea at the end of this season?
