We've reported earlier that the upcoming McLaren Ultimate Series "Hyper-GT" BP23 will be a seriously fast machine.
The F1 iconically set the speed record of 391km/h (243mph) back in the late '90s, with its naturally aspirated V12 engine and six-speed manual transmission. McLaren says a public debut will take place before the end of this year, with a private preview held beforehand.
After Lenin's in Tripura, Periyar's statue vandalised in Tamil Nadu
While speaking to media, Raja said, "The post on my Facebook page was done by one of the administrators without my permission". Several BJP leaders including Ram Madhav and Subramanian Swamy had rejoiced the demolition of the Lenin's statue .
Codenamed BP23, the Hyper-GT will feature a three seat cockpit with a central driving position, just as the F1. "A hybrid powertrain will make it one of the most powerful McLarens yet created, but the vehicle will also deliver the highest levels of refinement, enabling significant journeys to be undertaken with up to three people aboard". McLaren also hints the name will be something more special "rather than an alphanumeric nomenclature".
McLaren chief executive Mike Flewitt announced at the Geneva Motor Show that a public reveal of the still-unnamed auto can be expected this year. Before you ask about buying one, the entire allotment of 106 units was already sold before the BP23 was announced in November 2016. Production will begin in late 2019 and the BP23 name will likely change before production.
