Hyundai's luxury-arm, Genesis, reveals its futuristic all-electric grand tourer at the NY motor show. I think this period with Galaxy, these couple of years, probably, will be very good for him. If I want to change in minute 98, I change in minute 98.
The Genesis Essentia incorporates a highly modern cockpit, reminiscent of racing cockpit racing and, of course, like any good supercar, the butterfly doors are part of it. Its look is heavily inspired by classic grand tourers of yesteryear, with a long bonnet, double bubble roof and taught rear. The battery pack is contained within the car's center tunnel inside an L-shape structure. This allows Genesis Essentia to achieve the super-low, 50-inch roofline and spacious, GT-style cabin.
Genesis introduces on the new Essentia an array of features it calls Disconnectivity. The technology housed in Essentia surpasses the industry standard, focusing on the connection between the vehicle and its environment in the near future. Employing vehicle-to-vehicle communications, the system also keeps the driver informed about upcoming road conditions and helps avoid delays such as traffic congestion.
The Essentia Concept also demonstrates new uses for machine learning technology.
The vehicle is also notable for its incorporation of biometric technology. The auto also integrates a banking feature which lets its drivers easily make payments while on the road.
