The video of the incident was posted on Facebook.
The video has since been edited and does not show the moment Holmes is shot.
On Sunday, a couple of friends in Houston took to Facebook Live to playfully idle with each other in a local gas station parking lot.
Footage seen on social media does not show the moment Holmes was gunned down but does show him slumped over and covered in blood.
The New York Post is reporting that Devyn Holmes last words before being shot were "you're making me nervous". The man who is sitting in the back seat places a gun on the car's armrest, before Damper pulls out another gun and waves it in front of the phone camera.
Shortly after, Damper's gun fired, shooting Holmes in the head.
'It ain't got no clip, bud, ' another person, since identified as Cadillac Coleman is heard saying.

Cassandra Damper, 25, was reportedly arrested after she allegedly attempted to wipe off gun residue from her hands.
The unidentified male passenger in the auto has not been charged.
Holmes is now listed in critical condition at Ben Taub Hospital.
Damper was charged with tampering with evidence.
Damper told police that she believed the gun was unloaded, according to Click2Houston.
The other man seen in the video was not charged.
Houston police told KPRC-TV that they were investigating the incident as an accidental shooting but it will ultimately be for a grand jury to decide the outcome.
