Persons who have never been registered to vote before, or persons who are not now registered in the county of their residence and persons who are registered but need to change their registration information may apply by filling out and mailing an Oklahoma Voter Registration Application form at any time. That includes 7,659 votes during early voting and 12,062 on Tuesday, according to data provided by the Pitt County Board of Elections.
And in virtually every county-wide race featuring an unopposed Democrat on the ballot and an unopposed Republican, the unopposed Democrat took more votes. Polls are open from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m.
