Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci defended special assistant Kelly Sadler after she was sacked over her comments about Senator John McCain's health. Schlapp, however, denied the claims, saying that she has never used "that word to describe anyone on the White House staff".
This is a developing story. John McCain's health last month, no longer works in the administration, three sources with knowledge of the matter said on Tuesday.
Some media reports suggest that Sadler was pushed out of her position because she had accused White House Strategic Communications Director Mercedes Schlapp of being the one who leaked her comments to the media.
"Kelly Sadler is no longer employed within the Executive Office of the President", wrote Raj Shah, the principal deputy press secretary, in an emailed statement.

The Model 3 is supposed to start at around $35k, though Tesla has yet to begin delivering those base-spec versions. A battery factory in China, in addition to expanding production, could allow Tesla to avoid import tariffs there.
Sadler apologized privately to the McCain family privately. The president, who very rarely says sorry, did not demand an apology - even though other aides said Sadler should.
Kelly Sadler has been let go form the White House.
Speaking about the efforts to seek out leakers, Sanders said, "I think it is disgusting and some of the most shameful behavior that you can ever engage in". Conway would not comment on why Sadler was ousted from her role as a special assistant to Trump, which involved compiling and disseminating talking points to the administration's allies.
